FAM to FAM-OUS

Can it be true? Is the Fitchburg Art Museum finally getting the recognition it deserves? Yes, yes it is and the museum cannot be more excited about it.

Ever since the opening of their new exhibtion "naturetech", the museum has been flooded with reviews and interviews from mediums across the region; the Telegram & Gazette, Sentinel & Enterprise and even the Boston Globe.

Most recently, one of the featured artists was given the spotlight in the Boston Globe. Nathalie Miebach was featured under the "Arts, Who, What, Where" section of newspaper.

Here is a little preview of what Gobe Correspondent, Kelly Danckert had to write about the whimsical, data-driven artist, Nathalie Miebach.

"Her contribution to the “naturetech” group show is a testament to the progression of her work from basket-weaving to large-scale sculptures made of dowels, rope, beads, wood, and paper. The Fitchburg exhibit features the interaction of ocean and weather systems in the Gulf of Maine, with specific information focusing on the migration patterns of krill. "
